About The School
American Creativity Academy Bahrain (ACA), formerly known as Beacon Private School, is a private, co-educational international school established in Bahrain in 2018. The school is located in Hidd, ACA Bahrain provides education within an international and multilingual learning environment. The school combines international academic standards with Bahraini culture and local educational values, welcoming learners from different nationalities and backgrounds.
Its educational approach places importance on academic progress alongside intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Learners are encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently, work collaboratively and take increasing responsibility for their education.
Language learning is an important part of the school experience. Learners study English and Arabic, with opportunities to select additional languages such as French or Spanish. This multilingual approach aims to develop communication skills while maintaining a connection to local language and culture.
The purpose-built campus includes dedicated areas for Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Classrooms, collaborative spaces, indoor gardens, learning facilities and activity areas are designed to support academic study, creativity, social interaction and student wellbeing.
School Academics
American Creativity Academy Bahrain provides education from Pre-Nursery to Grade 12, for learners approximately 2 to 18 years of age. The school offers an American curriculum alongside the International Baccalaureate Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.
Early Years learning combines recognised early-learning guidelines with inquiry, play and guided activities. From KG2 onwards, students develop subject knowledge and skills through American curriculum standards and interdisciplinary learning, with emphasis on communication, research, critical thinking and collaboration.
Arabic is taught in line with Bahrain’s national requirements, with a separate programme for non-native speakers. French and Spanish are also offered as additional language options.
In Grades 11 and 12, students may follow the IB Diploma Programme, which supports preparation for university through academic study, independent research, creativity, activity and service.
