Alia For Early Intervention
Alia For Early Intervention offers evaluation, early Intervention Services and case management to eligible children and their families. Children eligible for services must be three years old of age at the time of referral, and suspected of developmental delay or diagnosed with a physical or mental condition, resulting in a high probability of delay in the following areas :
- Cognitive development
- Communication development
- Social or emotional development
- Physical development
The children follow a range of interventions, depending on their individual needs. Most of the children follow the Applied Behavior Analysis programs. This is a one to one intervention that teaches the children various skills in receptive language, expressive language, and imitation, play skills, independent work and academics. Addition to the ABA programs, the children also follow the Miller Method and TEACCH.

The Children's Academy
The Children’s Academy is Bahrain’s first ever, independent, dedicated special needs school opened in September 2008. The Children’s Academy is affiliated with the prestigious Alpha Plus Group in London.
Situated in Riffa, the school is everything you would be looking for if you are a parent of a child that has special education needs. So much so, that parents who have previously seen their children struggling to achieve expected levels of attainment in a mainstream education establishment, should be especially pleased about this addition to Bahrain’s educational offering.
The Children’s Academy ensures the children are taught in classes with low teacher-pupil ratios and several teaching assistants in each class, to facilitate one-on-one attention. The children have access to the British National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum, NCFE, BTEC and GCSEs.

The Dana Special Education established in 2015 and is a non-profit making organization exists to make a positive difference for individuals with special needs especially children with learning difficulties LD such as Dyslexia and attention deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD by disseminating current and accurate information and advice, and by providing independent, specialist consultancy, evaluation and educational services.

RIA Caters to the needs of mainstream learners as well as students with Special Educational Needs offering a year round educational and ‘mini’ respite service. RIFE USA
RIFE USA’s core philosophy is based on the family centric approach. Giving a personal touch and going an extra mile to assist and help families can be easily found in the RIFE USA’s DNA. RIFE USA embarked on its journey in January 2016. The Clinic provides ABA therapy which is the most evidence based practice in the treatment of Autism and other disabilities, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physiotherapy for children and adults, learning support and WRAP around services which helps the child to become a part of the community.
We pride ourselves on our supportive and engaging learning environment that follows the motivation of the child. Our 1:1 therapy sessions are highly individualized to fill in gaps in children’s developmental skills.

Steps Rehabilitation Center
Welcome to Steps Rehabilitation Center! Thank you for taking the first step towards empowering your loved ones with the strength and courage to strive to achieve more. We at Steps Rehabilitation will guide you and take each step with you towards a newer better tomorrow.
Our center was born out of love and dedication from a mother, Fawzia, with a child like yours. She realized foreign rehabilitation was not accessible to all in Bahrain. In search of newer techniques of therapies for her son, Abdulla, she discovered the Therasuit Method™, created by Izabela and Richard Koscielny. This method, in conjunction with Intensive Therapy, changed her son’s life – and at that moment, Fawzia knew that she had to bring this technique to Bahrain.
In 2007, Steps Rehabilitation Center opened. While initially we focused solely on Intensive Rehabilitation, we have since branched out and offer our Early Intervention – Well Baby Program, Pediatric Physical Therapy, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Intensive Physical and Occupational Therapy and Adult Rehabilitation.
