About The School
International School of Creative Science Bahrain is a British curriculum school established in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2024. Located in Riffa, the school is managed by Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management International, also known as BEAM, which operates Creative Science Schools across the region.
ISCS Bahrain welcomes students from different nationalities and aims to provide an inclusive learning environment centred on academic development, character education and cultural identity. Its educational philosophy is reflected in the school’s motto, “Excellence Rooted in Values,” which combines the pursuit of academic achievement with integrity, responsibility and respect for others.
The school places emphasis on developing the whole child by supporting intellectual, personal, social and moral growth. Creative and critical thinking, collaboration and responsible global citizenship form part of the wider school experience.
The purpose-built campus includes classrooms, libraries, activity spaces, ICT facilities, an auditorium, sports areas and playgrounds. The school also promotes communication between families and teachers through its parent portal, which provides access to information such as attendance, homework, assessments and student reports.
School Academics
International School of Creative Science Bahrain currently provides education for children 3 to 14 years of age, with year groups offered from FS1 to Year 9.
The school follows the National Curriculum for England alongside the Bahrain Ministry of Education curriculum for Arabic Language, Islamic Education and national studies. Arabic is provided for both Arabic-speaking and non-Arabic-speaking students, enabling learners to study the language at an appropriate level.
In the Early Years Foundation Stage, learning covers communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. Teaching combines adult-directed activities with child-initiated learning to support curiosity, independence and early academic development.
As students progress through the Primary and lower Secondary stages, the curriculum develops knowledge and skills progressively across subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Islamic Education, History, Geography, Computer Science, Physical Education, Art and Design.
The school uses thematic and cross-curricular learning where appropriate, while placing importance on literacy, numeracy, oracy, creative thinking and problem-solving. Its academic programme is further supported by Quran memorisation and the Integrated Virtues Curriculum, which connects learning with character development, faith, cultural awareness and practical application.
