The Capital School Bahrain is based on a classic British School set-up that offers a classroom structure with key stages of development. We teach the British National Curriculum including Early Years’ Foundation Stage, whilst adhering to the requirements of the Bahrain Ministry of Education for Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies. We create a positive & nurturing atmosphere to provide an excellent educational experience for our pupils.
We are a BSO (British School Overseas) and BSME school meaning that we are able take newly qualified and early career teachers from the UK, and to support them through their teaching experience.

1.Capital School is looking to appoint –  Outstanding Maths teacher starting in August 2024. For suitable applicants, there is also the possibility to be considered for the Head of Maths department role.

Person specification:

We are looking for a reflective practitioner who:

  • Is an experienced specialist Maths teacher using the English National Curriculum at Secondary level including IGCSE and ideally A level.
  • Places each child at the core of their practice and behaviour.
  • Connects with pupils and teaches engaging lessons to form happy, confident and creative learners.
  • Is a team player with a passion for teaching their subject or age group.
  • Shares the school ethos and vision.
