As an educational institution in Bahrain, we strictly adhere to the approval systems mandated by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Therefore, please note that only applications meeting the following requirements will be considered:
- Applicants must provide evidence of qualifications obtained, which are accepted by the Ministry of Education in Bahrain.
- The verification of qualifications is independently conducted by Quadrabay, a trusted private company.
Contracts are contingent upon submission of the following authenticated documents:
- Quadrabay qualifications verification report of your bachelor’s degree, and for your PGCE if you do not have a Bachelor of Education.
- Original Bachelor’s degree, PGCE certificates with transcripts.
- Resignation acceptance letter or release letter by the last school/institution that you are resigning from.
- Two recommendations from previous principals/ supervisors or professors.
- Good Conduct Certificate as per the Bahrain Law for Bahraini nationals and residents.
- FBI background check / police clearance from both the country of residence & country of origin for expats.
- A pre-employment medical examination certificate that indicates the employee’s fitness to work, issued by the Ministry of Health in Bahrain after undergoing a medical test in Bahrain.
- Accurate and updated curriculum vitae.

1. STUDENT WELFARE OFFICER
Job Summary: A Student Welfare Officer plays a vital role in providing emotional, and practical support to learners within the school. We are looking to appoint a multilingual individual who will be responsible for nurturing learners in an enthusiastic and professional environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Pastoral Counselling: Provide confidential counselling sessions to individuals and families dealing with personal and emotional. Offer compassionate listening, guidance, and support tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Advocacy: Advocate for the spiritual and emotional well-being of individuals within the organization or community. Collaborate with leadership to ensure that pastoral care services are integrated into the overall care plan.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and counselling to individuals and families facing crisis situations such as illness, death, trauma, or loss. Collaborate with the counsellor to provide holistic care.
- Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community members, including families, staff, PTLA, and volunteers. Organize and facilitate support groups, educational workshops, and community events to address needs.
- Coordination: Coordinate pastoral care services within the organization or community, ensuring that individuals receive timely and appropriate support.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of pastoral care interactions, including counselling sessions, referrals, and follow-up actions. Adhere to professional and ethical standards of confidentiality.
- Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff, volunteers, and community members on topics related to pastoral care, including active listening, empathy, and crisis intervention. Stay updated on best practices in pastoral care and counselling.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in theology, pastoral counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ Experience working in a similar role.
