FEES ADDITIONS

Fees Non-inclusive:

  • Registration fees for new admissions, due upon admissions BD 75
  • Technology Service Charge : BD 6.250 Per Month if Digital Campus / Mobile Application is opted for, Bd 72 if paid for the full year in advance.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Note 1 : Transportation (Optional) has been outsourced to Almoayyed Transportation. Parents are requested to fill the transport forms and hand them over to the school. Transport fees will be collected in the school by the Co-ordinator from Almoayyed Transportation.

Fee Refunding Scheme:

  1. In case a student does not attend the class, all fees will be refunded.
  2. If a student attends one month or less, 50% of fees will be refunded.
  3. If a student attends for more than one month, no fees will be refunded.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The Admission(s) Team is committed to working together with families in determining the educational placement that is best for each student.

The admission process has been designed to ensure students are appropriately placed at School, while maintaining the integrity and consistency of the school program and policies.  A student’s application will pass through different stages facilitated by effective communication, between the parents and the school’s admission team.

Information

Our school will undertake screening and assessments to determine the right placement of an applicant.  After a student has been registered and required paperwork submitted, students entering Grade 1 and above will be asked to complete a placement test.  Students entering Pre Kg to Kg 2  will meet in groups with a member of the Educational team.

Bahrain Indian School seeks to make the most appropriate grade placement for each student based on his or her age, as well as academic, social and emotional development within policy guidelines. For this reason, new students may be required to complete an appropriate level assessment to determine placement and fit.

All new students must provide official documentation of previous school experience, report card, and test scores. All documents provided must be in English. The school may request certification of translation from the Consulate of the country in which the student last attended to meet admission requirements.

To meet the age requirements of the admission policy for Bahrain Indian School, a student must have turned the age listed next to the grade level by March 31st of the Academic Year. The age criteria given below, is also specified by the Ministry of Education, Bahrain.

Requirement of Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain

Parents are requested to comply with the following procedures of Ministry of Education once admission formalities are completed with the school. Approval from Ministry of Education is mandatory for all students joining Grade 2 and above.

TRANSFER FROM SCHOOLS WITHIN THE GCC

  • Transfer Certificate should be authenticated/ stamped by The Ministry of Education (of the country
    of issue).
  • Report Card signed and stamped by the School (Original).
  • Present the above documents to Examination Directorate, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain
    to receive an equivalency letter.
  • Submit the Equivalency Certificate and Transfer Certificate (both original copies) to School to complete the remaining formalities with Ministry of Education.

 

TRANSFER FROM SCHOOLS IN INDIA

  • Transfer Certificate should be authenticated from the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi (APOSTILLE ATTESTATION).
  • Report Card signed and stamped by the School (Original). For Grade 9 and above, Mark sheet (final mark sheet of previous grade) also need apostille attestation along with TC.
  • Present the above documents to Examination Directorate, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain to receive an equivalency letter.
  • Submit the Equivalency Certificate and Transfer Certificate (both original copies) to School to complete the remaining formalities with Ministry of Education
  • ( If transfer is from Board other than CBSE, the TC should be counter-signed by the District Educational Officer of the state/ Union Territory concerned in addition to the Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi).
