2. IB Mathematics Teacher
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the IB DP curriculum
- Master’s Degree or higher in Mathematics or related field PGCE or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of IB Mathematics concepts and principles
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking skills among students
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with technology tools used for instruction, such as interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms, etc.
- Passionate about teaching and learning and sharing that with your students

5. Elementary Arabic Teacher
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language.
- Teaching certification or relevant professional qualification.
- Experience teaching Arabic at the elementary level.
- Ability to teach Arabic as a First Language and Arabic as an Additional Language.
- Good level of English language communication to support instruction, collaboration, and parent communication.
- Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and student-centered Arabic lessons.
- The ability to continuously improve practices and apply new knowledge in the classroom.

6. Learning Support Services (Head of Department) - Elementary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum in Special Education, and /or appropriate certification
- Previous experience in an international school setting with demonstrated strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Aero Common Core Plus, ASCA other American curriculum standards, and/or IB as needed
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A positive, caring, community-minded team player with a passion for teaching
- Familiarity with the development and implementation of Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) and other specialized education programs
- Familiarity with PASS and CAT4 surveys

7. Elementary Vice Principal
Reporting to the Principal of the Elementary School, the Elementary Vice Principal will assist the Principal in the general organization and management of the School as assigned. The Elementary Vice Principal works together with the Principal in all areas of school administration and leadership, including the academic program for Elementary (ES) and the Early Childhood Centre (ECC), preparation of the school timetable, scheduling and evaluation, personnel management, student discipline, supervision of extra-curricular events, and the development and establishment of good relations with parents and the ASB community.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years teaching experience preferably in an American Curriculum School at the primary/junior level
– Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
– Masters degree in education or in related field is preferred (or working towards)
– Prior administrative/leadership experience in an Elementary and Early Childhood School setting
– Ability to inspire trust and confidence in working with members of the School community and effectively communicate the mission of ASB
– Ability to work collaboratively with administrators and teaching staff
– Excellent leadership, organizational, administrative & communication skills
– A strong commitment to continuous professional development
– Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following would be considered an asset: Standards Based Grading/Common Core Curriculum, Inquiry based Teaching & Learning, NWEA MAP, Atlas Rubicon, Powerschool, Workshop Model, UFLI, Dibbles
