Applying at Al Raja School
All applicants for academic subjects must have at least a bachelors degree in education for their subject area OR at least a bachelors degree in the subject area and a teaching qualification.
1. MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER :
The Candidate Will Have :
- Evidence of up-to-date knowledge of the American Curriculum.
- Understanding of the significance of our school ethos.
- Understanding of the requirements of good classroom management.
Skills & Abilities :
- Commitment to curriculum continuity between the sections.
- Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.
- Meticulous record keeping of student records and intervention strategies.
- Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
Experience :
- At least two years of teaching experience in the specified subject.
- Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.
- Evidence of good personal relationships/ team player.
Educational :
- Qualified teacher with a bachelor’s degree in science and education.
- Attested qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree.
- Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities as a participant.
Special Requirements :
- Applicant’s compliance with supporting and upholding the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
- A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required before appointment.
- Excellent and unequivocal references.
- Good attendance and health record.
