University Of Bahrain
The University of Bahrain informally Bahrain University, abbreviated as UOB) is the largest public university in the Kingdom of Bahrain with campuses in Sakhir, Isa Town and Manama, the university has more than 20,000 registered students and over 2000 staff members. The university is a member of the International Association of Universities and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The university has three campuses. Its main campus in Sakhir covers an area of 103657m2 and houses all the colleges except the Colleges of Health Science and Engineering. The College of Health Sciences is based in a 10,000 m2 (110,000 sq ft) campus next to the Salmaniya Medical Complex. The College of Engineering is based in a 10,000 m2 (110,000 sq ft) campus alongside the Bahrain Polytechnic.

Bahrain Polytechnic is a government-owned tertiary education institute located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It has been established by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; King of Bahrain by Royal Decree in July 2008. It is considered a key initiative for the Education and Training Development Committee; a project of the Bahrain Vision 2030 master plan. Bahrain Polytechnic delivers applied learning, technical education, skills-based and occupational training. Degrees offered range from certificate courses, diplomas, to bachelor’s degree levels.

Applied Science University
The Applied Science University is a university in Al Ekir, south of Manama within the Kingdom of Bahrain. Founded by Bahraini academic Waheeb Al-Khaja, ASU was licensed by the Ministry of Education in 2004. Gulf Education Project W.L.L. Company, based in Bahrain, owns the university. It was one of the first private universities in Bahrain to teach in both the Arabic and the English languages.
Among the programs offered by the university are eleven undergraduate programs and seven postgraduate programs. The university has colleges of administrative sciences, law, and arts and sciences.

British University Of Bahrain
The British University of Bahrain (BUB) is a private university located in Saar, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in 2018 in partnership with the University of Salford in Manchester, it awards undergraduate British degrees in the country. BUB is located in a purpose-built ten-storey building in the Saar area of Bahrain.
The campus includes a 424-seater auditorium, a high-tech learning resource centre, contemporary recreational and work spaces as well as more than fifty classrooms, workshops and laboratories. The university also serves as a testing centre for the IELTS exam.

The American University Of Bahrain
The American University of Bahrain is a private university situated in Riffa, Bahrain. Opened in September 2019 and licensed by the Higher Education Council of Bahrain, it is the first purpose-built American-style university in the country. AUBH is the first comprehensive, purpose-built, American-style co-educational university in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is supported through the Mumtalakat portfolio. AUBH is licensed by the Higher Education Council of the Ministry of Education of Bahrain.
The university’s 75,000-square-metre (19-acre) campus is located in Bahrain’s Southern Governorate in Riffa. It was designed by US-based architects Ayers Saint Gross to accommodate up to 4,000 students and includes a library, four academic buildings each three storeys high, and an auditorium seating 250. The built-up area of campus totals 22,865 square metres (5.650 acres); there are 878 parking spaces.

Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance is a semi-governmental higher education institute situated in the Juffair district of Manama, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Founded in 1981 as the Bahrain Bankers Training Centre, it is affiliated with the Central Bank of Bahrain and offers more than 400 various training courses in banking, accounting, Islamic finance, insurance, information technology and marketing. BIBF is largely responsible for the Bahrainization of the finance sector in the country. It is affiliated with Bangor University.
The BIBF campus is located in Juffair, an eastern district of the Bahraini capital Manama. The campus consists of a building that itself contains 26 classrooms and 4 computer laboratories. Additionally, the campus hosts a Pearson VUE assessment centre, an 80-seat seminar room, a student lounge and a cafe.

Kingdom University

Ahlia University (AU) is a private university situated in the heart of Manama, Bahrain. Established in 2001, Ahlia University was the first private university to be licensed by the Government of Bahrain.

Arab Open University
The Arab Open University (AOU) is a sustainable development and educational non-profit project. It was founded by HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdul-Aziz, Chairman of the AOU Board of Trustees. In September 2000, AOU was officially declared in the meeting of Arab ministers of higher education where five Arab countries offered to host the headquarters of AOU.
Among them was Kuwait that was chosen to be the headquarters of AOU in December 2000. Today AOU has eight branches in Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman and Sudan.
