Curriculum Overview
Our kindergarten curriculum is thoughtfully curated, drawing from global early learning concepts and best practices. While not affiliated with any specific framework, it integrates play-based learning, experiential approaches, and foundational skill development to support children’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth, with a strong focus on early writing skills, fine motor development, confidence, and independence.
Children completing the September – June curriculum cycle are well prepared to transition into Grade 1 under British or international curriculum pathways.
Children completing the April – March curriculum cycle are well prepared to transition into Grade 1 under the Indian curriculum.
April – March Curriculum Cycle
Our April – March curriculum is a carefully researched and a thoughtfully curated programme that draws from a wide range of global early learning methodologies. Designed to support well-rounded development, it integrates play-based learning, foundational academic readiness, social–emotional growth, and creative exploration. The approach balances structure and flexibility, ensuring learning is age-appropriate, meaningful, and responsive to each child’s developmental stage. The academic year is tailored for students who enrolling for CBSE schools for Grade 1.
September – June Curriculum Cycle
The September – June curriculum follows a purposefully designed early years programme inspired by best practices in early childhood education worldwide. Emphasising experiential learning, hands-on exploration, and child-centred experiences, it supports cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development. This curated approach encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence while creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The New Zing Kindergarten opened its doors in the year 2010 and till today continues to provide excellent preschool and kindergarten education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Accredited by the Ministry of Education, the New Zing institutions, offer both English and Arabic curriculums.

The New Zing Kindergarten opened its doors in the year 2010 and till today continues to provide excellent preschool and kindergarten education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We have an average student strength of over 200, all of whom have sought admission through word of mouth. The Institutions have served children to become confident students in regular schools offering American, British, Arabic, Indian and other curriculums. At New Zing Kindergarten, early childhood education is the cornerstone of a student’s future.

Aiming at this, New Zing Kindergarten helps develop the child’s physical, cognitive, social, emotional, creative, imaginative, artistic and other skills through play-oriented programmes, which motivate the young for better learning success. At the pre-kindergarten level, children engage in activities that develop hand muscles, hand-eye co-ordination, listening, speaking, and observations skills. In addition, the visual discrimination, counting and sorting skills are also developed. They also develop their pre-reading and pre-writing skills, which are necessary for the next level of learning. These programmes are designed to help children develop from the simple to the complex in an enjoyable manner.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Learning & developing good habits & moral values at an early age holds equal importance as the learning of all other skills.
In lower kindergarten, the children are introduced to writing through various patterns and strokes. By the end of the session children will have mastered the reading and writing of the upper and lower case letters, small words, numbers, counting, sorting, classifying and drawing and knowledge of self & surroundings.
In higher kindergarten, children augment their English vocabulary by way of reading & writing spellings, from simple two-letter words to more difficult words, basic English grammar, advanced mathematical skills that include simple addition & subtraction as well as environmental science.
The normal working day does not comprise only learning English, mathematics & science, but also includes social & emotional development, arts & crafts, drawing, singing sessions, physical exercises & play in the well equipped outdoor & indoor play area. New Zing Kindergarten maintains a very open, friendly & welcoming atmosphere throughout the day making the children want to come back the next day. The premises are safe & secure, cleanliness of the highest standards is always maintained. All the teaching & non-teaching staff are carefully selected & possess the necessary qualifications & training.
In addition they are given inhouse training to meet the special needs and requirements of children entrusted in their care.
