Fees Terms & Conditions

Tuition fee is not refundable.

In case of withdrawal, applicable charges rate based on full year tuition fee :

  • 25%, If withdraw before 1st SEP 
  • 35%, If withdraw before 1st OCT 
  • 50%, If withdraw before 1st DEC 
  • 100%, If withdraw before 1st JAN 

Certificate of Clearance and school reports will be released only after full payment of dues.

Admission Policy

Arabian Pearl Gulf School offers its educational services to Bahraini and Non- Bahraini children who share a common genuine desire and strong capability to meet the school’s standards.

GENERAL ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Minimum age rule.

APG School abides by the rule on admission age of students set by the Ministry of Education. Students are placed in a given grade level according to their age.
The cut-off date in determining the grade placement is end of January. The following scheme is provided to illustrate student’s minimum age for each level. The school accepts students of age +3 entering KG ­, but the student should be 4 years old by February. The same rule applies to all levels.

  • Entering KG 1 – 4 by February 
  • Entering KG 2 – 5 by February 
  • Entering 1st Grade – 6 by February 
  • Entering 2nd Grade – 7 by February 
  • Entering 3rd Grade – 8 by February 
  • Entering 4th Grade – 9 by February 
  • Entering 5th Grade – 10 by February
  • Entering 6th Grade – 11 by February 
  • Entering 7th Grade – 12 by February 
  • Entering 8th Grade – 13 by February 
  • Entering 9th Grade – 14 by February 
  • Entering 10th Grade – 15 by February 
  • Entering 11th Grade – 16 by February 
  • Entering 12th Grade – 17 by February

Assessment: Prospective students will undertake a form of assessment as arranged by concerned Counselor/Officer.

  • Those seeking admission to KG1 until Grade 1 should pass the oral assessment to be conducted by concerned teacher/administrator.
  • Those seeking admission to Grade 2 until Grade 12 should undertake the following before being accepted:
    Submit a copy of student’s academic report from previous school (average rate of not less than %75);
  • Pass both written and oral assessments.
    Interview by the Principal and other concerned administrator/s is required.

Admission: If admitted, complete the school’s registration procedures and submit the required supporting documents below;

  • Photocopy of the Birth Certificate, Passport, and CPR;
  • Original Transfer Certificate from the school last attended;
  • Conduct Certificate from the school last attended;
  • Official copy of the student’s academic report from the school last attended confirming successful completion of the preceding class;
  • Completed Medical Record from an authorized Medical Practitioner
    (for KG going to Grade 1);
  • Passport sized photo (4 pcs.)
  • Any other information parents consider necessary for the school to know.

ADMISSION TO IGCSE & IBDP

Prospective students seeking admission to IGCSE and the IB Diploma
Programme are requested to meet with the concerned Coordinator and shall undertake the following procedures

  • Submit a copy of student’s academic report;
  • Prospective students may inquire about the programme;
  • Wait for the call to set your schedule for entrance examination;
  • Pay required fee and take the entrance examination;
  • Wait for the call to inform you about the results;
  • If needed, you will be asked to present yourself for an interview;
  • Present yourself on the date and time of the interview;
  • Wait for the final decision about your application;
  • If admitted, see the concerned Coordinator to plan your course of
    study;
  • Complete your registration.

Continuing Students of APG School should:

  • Attend the pre-IB orientation in March;
  • Fill up the pre-registration form with your parents;
  • Submit the form to the IB Coordinator;
  • Discuss with the IB Coordinator if you have questions about the courses;
  • Complete your registration once your courses have been approved.
