TUITION FEES STRUCTURE

Fees are structured based on the requirements of the curriculum. Parents are requested to pay the 1st installment of the tuition fee and other fees along with the one-time registration fee to complete the student’s enrollment process with the Canadian School Bahrain.

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • The tuition fees exclude Books, Uniforms, After School Activities, Food services and School Activities & Trips (For Grade 7 onwards, School trips fees are to be paid before each trip).
  • The tuition fees of Grade 7 onwards are discounted.

Application Fee
  • At the time of admissions, you may collect the admission form from the school by paying a non-refundable fee of BD 100.
  • The admission application fee is a one-time fee which is applicable to new students only.
Registration Fee and Enrollment Fee

On receiving confirmation from the school regarding the student’s acceptance, parents are requested to pay:

  • A one-time registration fee of 250 BD to finalize the student’s enrollment, applicable to new students only
  • 1st installment of the tuition fee as mentioned in the chart below, under the ‘School Fees’ column

Yes, we do, however, installments are not paid per term, instead we have an installment schedule. To reserve your child seat you need to pay registration fees, books, activities and trips, first installment, BC and iPad (for grades 4 and up) after one week from acceptance.

Families considering CSB are warmly invited to tour our school on Wednesday afternoons from 2-3pm. We request that appointments for the tours are made through our Admissions Office.

Information

Parents who wish their children to be registered at Canadian School Bahrain must:
  1. Submit an application form with ALL supporting documents and signed forms.
  2. Pay the application fee of BD 100.
  3. Schedule an assessment with a member of our admissions team.
  4. Once accepted, you will be asked to pay registration fees and all other fees to reserve the seat for your child.

There will be a non-refundable fee of BHD 100 for each student enrollment application.

You will be notified if your child will need to be placed on a waiting list. Please talk to the admissions team regarding your child’s class intake for the school year.

As classroom placements are limited, parents are given 14 days to complete and return their confirmation of acceptance with a non-refundable BHD 250 registration fee and the first term tuition to complete enrollment.

After your child has received acceptance to join the Canadian School Bahrain, we request a transfer certificate from their previous school.

The original transfer certificate must be on official school letterhead. This form must be typed, signed by the Principal, and shows an official school stamp.

The transfer certificate of students from schools located in any country other than Australia, Canada, Western Europe, New Zealand, USA and UAE, MUST be in English or Arabic and attested by:

  • Ministry of Education
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Bahrain Embassy

Attestation is required for GCC countries students from the Ministry of Education only.

For students transferring within Bahrain, you must request a transfer certificate from your child’s former school. The Transfer Certificate must be provided before your child is able to start school.

The school currently offers from Nursery to Grade 10, while two grades are added each academic year

  • Preschool – Nursery to KG2
  • Elementary – Grade 1 to Grade 4
  • Middle School – Grade 5 to Grade 8
  • High School – Grade 9 to Grade 10

The Canadian School Bahrain (CSB) offers the British Columbia (BC), Canada curriculum. The BC Curriculum is an internationally renowned education program of the highest standard. The subjects we offer are English language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, Art, Music, etc. with great emphasis on Bahraini Social studies/Citizenship, Islamic studies, and Arabic language.

We have 1 homeroom teacher and 1 educational Assistant for all preschool and grade 1. 

The Canadian School Bahrain obtains it’s accreditation and is inspected for quality assurance unlike any other school in Bahrain.

The school is inspected yearly by representatives from the BC Ministry of Education to ensure we maintain the very highest standards in education and that our students receive the same quality of education as students studying in British Columbia, Canada.
