ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

STEP1

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

If you are interested in the School and would like us to send you additional information, or you would like to book a school tour, please complete the form above. Our team will respond within 24 hours, during a normal working week.


 

STEP2

BOOK A TOUR OR COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Once you have registered your interest, our team will send you information on how to schedule a school tour or complete the online application form.


 

STEP3

LEARNER INTERVIEW

When we have reviewed your application, you will receive an invitation for your child to attend a Learner Interview at Quest School. The interview will be conducted by a member of our faculty. This is not a formal assessment or exam. 


 

STEP4

ADMISSION DECISION

If all parties agree that Quest School is the right school for your child, you will receive a formal offer for enrolment of your child at Quest School, should you choose to accept it.

Payment of deposit :
  • To reserve a place in the school, applicants must pay the fee stated in the offer letter.
  • Parents will pay all bank and/or transfer charges for any application processes.
Payment of fees :
  • Parents are required to pay all fees prior to the commencement of each term and no learner will be admitted to the school until the fees are paid in full.
  • It is the responsibility of parents to ensure fees are paid on time, late payment will incur a BD 100 penalty fee.
  • Non-payment of fees will result in the learner’s immediate termination of class attendance. Re-admittance will not be permitted until such time as all outstanding balances have been paid.
  • The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. Cash or cheques should be paid directly to the School’s Admissions Department. Cheques should be made payable to “Quest School”.
  • Any learner who is suspended, expelled or withdrawn by the school for breach of the school’s terms will not be entitled to any part of their fees returned.
  • The school will take such action, as it deems necessary to recover all outstanding debt. Any such action will also include the recovery of reasonable costs incurred by the school in relation to the recovery procedures.
  • Invoices for the annual fees are distributed at enrolment for new learners. For existing learners invoices are distributed ten weeks prior to the end of the term, with payment due four weeks prior to the end of that term.
Other fees may apply in individual cases. These may include:
  • Before and After-School Care
  • Specific School Outings
  • International Trips
  • After-School Activities

Fees for these and arrangements for payment will be notified separately.

If relevant fees or charges have not been paid students will not be able to participate in the activity.

Refund policy :
  • All applications for refunds must be made in writing to the Admissions Department.
  • Fees received up to and including the current term are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Fees received for future terms are refundable providing that one full term’s notice is given in writing.
  • In the event that all or part of the school is closed temporarily or permanently due to civil unrest, pandemic, or for any other reason, the School will not be liable to refund any fees or other monies it has received.
Attendance

A record of attendance is kept for each learner. In the event of the learner not attending school please inform the school reception by emailing the class teacher or phoning the school reception by 8:05 am.

Punctuality
  • School picks up time is between 14:15 and 14:30. If a learner is not collected by 14:30 the learner will be placed in the After-School Care Programme.
  • When a learner is placed in the After-School Care Programme due to a late pick-up the parents will receive a verbal reminder of the school pick-up times.
  • After three reminders in one calendar year parents will be invoiced for After-School Care.
Personal Conduct

Quest School expects its learners to behave in accordance with its Code of Conduct and Values whether they are on school premises or else where.

Disclaimer
  • It is the parent’s responsibility to provide valid and up-to-date contact information for them. This contact information should include a working e-mail address and mobile phone number. The school will assume that any method of communication provided is secure.
  • The parents confirm that all the information presented in support of the application is complete and accurate and that there are no academic, behavioural, or medical issues that have not been disclosed.
  • The parents accept that the school reserves the right to require a student to leave if information is discovered or disclosed that would haveled to the rejection of their application.
  • The parents accept that the school shall not be held responsible or liable for the loss of or damage to any item brought into the school.
  • Photographs of learners often feature in the press, in Quest School publications, on social and on the Quest School website. If parents do not wish their child’s photograph to appear, a written request must be submitted to the registrar before 01 September of every year.
  • If there are repeated breaches of school policy, the school reserves the right to cancel the student’s enrolment at QSB. This will be done at the nearest half-term.
  • A warning letter will be sent to the parents outlining behaviour that must cease.

Ministry of Education Approval (Applicable for learners entering Year 3 and above) The Private Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education of Bahrain mandates that learners in Year 3 and above must adhere to the following procedures.

 Please submit copies of all documents with the originals

Transferring from another school in Bahrain

  • Letter from parent/legal guardian stating the reason for transferring/changing schools.
  • Most recent End of Year or End of Term original report stamped and signed by the issuing school.
  • Original transfer certificate and No Objection letter (clearly stating no fees are outstanding) stamped and signed by the issuing school.
  • Please also submit a copy of CPR/ Iqama.

Requirements for joining Quest School from outside Bahrain Please submit a CPR copy with the following documents:

  • For all students relocating from GCC Countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman): original transfer certificate and report card signed and signed and stamped by the school and also stamped by the ministry of education from the relocating country. (Please also submit copies of all original documents).
  • For all students relocating from other countries: original transfer certificate and report card signed and stamped by the school principal and stamped by a notary public office or the British council in the kingdom Bahrain. (Please also submit copies of all original documents).

For students relocating from all other countries: Year 3 and up either 1:

An apostille stamp on the original transfer certificate and report card or  Three stamps on the original transfer certificate and report card form :

  • Ministry of Foreign affairs in the country of issue or any lawyer.
  • Embassy of the country that issued the certificates in Bahrain or in any GCC country.
  • Ministry of Foreign affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain – Manama Centre. (Please also submit copies of all original documents).

You must submit these original documents with copies to the Admissions department at Quest School Bahrain. The documents will then be submitted to the Private Education Directorate and the Transfer Approval form will be sent directly to Quest School Bahrain.
