School Academics

Alia National School provides education for students from approximately 3 to 18 years of age, covering Preschool, Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 12.

The school describes its curriculum as a developmental programme focused on the education of the whole child. English is the principal language of instruction, with the academic pathway designed to prepare students from early childhood through to secondary-school graduation.

In Preschool and Kindergarten, learning is based on play, exploration and developmentally appropriate activities. The programme supports early language, social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

Across the Elementary, Middle and High School stages, teaching aims to develop literacy, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, technology skills and independent learning.
