Our center was born out of love and dedication from a mother, Fawzia, with a child like yours. She realized foreign rehabilitation was not accessible to all in Bahrain. In search of newer techniques of therapies for her son, Abdulla, she discovered the Therasuit Method™, created by Izabela and Richard Koscielny. This method, in conjunction with Intensive Therapy, changed her son’s life – and at that moment, Fawzia knew that she had to bring this technique to Bahrain.

In 2007, Steps Rehabilitation Center opened. While initially we focused solely on Intensive Rehabilitation, we have since branched out and offer our Early Intervention – Well Baby Program, Pediatric Physical Therapy, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Intensive Physical and Occupational Therapy and Adult Rehabilitation.
