The British University of Bahrain is one of the newest Universities to be established in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Working in partnership with the University of Salford-Manchester, we bring to Bahrain British degrees from one of the UK’s leading universities. Bahrain students can now commence and study an Undergraduate UK Bachelors degree or Postgraduate UK Masters degree, exclusively on our state-of-the-art University campus, here in Bahrain. Students also have a unique option to transfer their course studies to the University of Salford, in Manchester, at the start of any of their subsequent academic years.

Finally, your degree and degree certificate will be proudly awarded by the University of Salford, both of which are fully recognised by the Higher Education Council-HEC of Bahrain.

CAMPUS OVERVIEW

BUB is located in a new, state of the art, university campus housed in a purpose-built ten-storey building in the Saar area of Bahrain. The campus includes a 424-seater auditorium, a high-tech learning resource centre, contemporary recreational and work spaces as well as more than fifty classrooms, workshops and laboratories equipped with leading-edge technology.

The campus has been designed around the distinctive learning philosophy of BUB, which emphasises active, student-centred and collaborative learning in an up-to-the-minute technology-rich environment. The campus is located adjacent to Bahrain’s newest mall, which offers students a wide range of additional facilities, including a hyper-market, 13-screen cinema complex and a wide range of retail outlets, cafes, restaurants and recreational facilities.

STUDY IN THE UK

All BUB undergraduate degrees are awarded by the University of Salford. And since they are identical to those available on Salford’s UK campus, students at BUB are able to transfer to Salford, Manchester at any stage once they have completed their Foundation Year (subject to any specific professional body requirements). There are also opportunities for BUB students to make shorter study visits to Salford, such as summer schools and special study tours.
