ASU | College of Law

The establishment of the Faculty of Law in 2004 at the Applied Sciences University was one of the most prominent tributaries of science and knowledge, in the endeavor of its national career to actively take part in raising the level of ASU education and scientific research in our beloved Kingdom of Bahrain. And how not? Each society in this world with all its diverse strata, and all public and private institutions cannot rise without having an easily accessible legal knowledge and advice, so that individuals will be always aware of how to deal with the various aspects of life, and be able to confront any issues and disputes that may be raised before the courts and the judiciary.

This is in addition to its contribution to enlightening them with all their rights, duties and elements of legal science. And here is the Faculty of Law still providing the labour market with a new batch of Alumni. Bahrain Society will be always proud to have graduates holding the torch of legal enlightenment every four years. The College of Law has been successful in its journey until it earned the confidence and quality in the Law Bachelor programme by the Quality Assurance Authority in 2012. The college then extended the legal construction bridges to preserve and maximize its role to rise and raise the society, when the college opened the Law Master’s Programme in 2005 and the Commercial Law Master programme in 2007. And the College of Law is still preparing further efforts to improve education and scientific research for the advancement in the Kingdom.
