CAMPUS OVERVIEW
The contemporary, 75,000 square meter campus is located in Riffa, Bahrain. The innovative and high-tech campus enhances the teaching and learning experience for both faculty and students. Along with classrooms, library and labs, the campus includes a Sports Center with indoor and outdoors courts and fields, vast Student Commons, and an Auditorium for special events.

Our inaugural faculty are highly qualified educators and mentors whose focus is on graduate outcomes and employment-readiness. Part of the curriculum involves the development of soft skills that are acquired through coaching and practice. BACHELOR OF ARTS IN MULTIMEDIA DESIGN
Why Multimedia Design? Designers with capabilities across multimedia have the creative world open to them, with opportunities in graphics, illustration, web, gaming, film and video, social media and photography to name a few. The entire world engages with every aspect of modern life through various forms of media, and the it is the creators behind this imagery, videography and innovative art that we are shaping through our courses. Multimedia is also non-specific by industry, meaning that the skills and knowledge possessed by these versatile designers can offer careers in literally any sector or organization – the sky’s the limit.
Who Should Apply? This four-year undergraduate program gives students the opportunity to specialize in mass communication, production, or advertising, so an interest and knowledge of these industries will be a bonus. If you have a creative flair and excellent visual communication skills, or perhaps an interest or passion for art, then Multimedia Design is for you. Students who possess strong IT skills and have a basic understanding of design software will also have an advantage on this creative program.
Program Content At the beginning, students are exposed to the role of imagery in culture, along with the ability to translate concepts, subjects, themes or narratives into visual language. Focus is given to today’s computer culture, covering information networks, multimedia environments and design and innovation processes. Each specialisation option develops a solid base of multimedia skills and knowledge, encompassing interface design, 2-D animation, video production, introductory software development, web-based design, and digital audio, and hands-on experience with real-world multimedia production. Budding photographers and videographers have their talent nurtured by learning technical skills and the process and philosophy of the art, moving on to image modification skills. Hand artists will also excel here in learning the translation of their craft to the digital medium. Students also have the choice to undertake an internship in one of our partner media agencies, preparing them to step into the workplace as ready designers.
With electives offered across business and professional services as well as technology entrepreneurship, designers are well-versed in not only the technical and creative side of their field, but are also given the awareness of how their skills enhance companies and products, enabling them to take on leadership roles in a variety of sectors.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN FINANCE
Why Finance? The financial sector is a diverse and fascinating career field, and with this internationally-centric business degree majoring in finance, opportunities exist in the leadership of any business, non-profit organization, or government agency. This course also has a strong focus on financial management for entrepreneurship, enabling students to pursue an advisory role to all scales of corporations.
Who Should Apply? With this four-year undergraduate curriculum, we are cultivating future business leaders who have a strong interest in economics and core STEM subjects such as mathematics and science. The ability to self-motivate and self-start will be a bonus. Applicants should have strong analytical skills and an ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organisation, with an existing eye for financial opportunities in a company or situation.
Program Content Business students will gain a unique blend of analytical, conceptual and strategic problem-solving skills which can be applied across a range of industry sectors. This professionally-oriented four-year program provides a solid grounding in the entire business ecosystem, incorporating accounting, business law, macro and micro-economics, marketing, management, strategy and ethics. Who Should Apply? This 4-year undergraduate program produces dynamic computer engineers who enjoy working collaboratively and can adapt to the constant change of the industry. If you love to experiment and have a passion for technology, then computer engineering is for you. Applicants to this degree program will need a strong basis in mathematics, sciences, electronics and computing basics, and need to be able to self-evaluate throughout their studies.
Program Content In the first year, this program tackles core principles of engineering mechanics, calculus, algebra and physics, homing in on the basics of computer organization and operation. As students advance, more complex elements of digital systems, electronics, networking and security are examined. Computer Engineering is one of our most flexible programs, giving students the opportunity to select from their choice of professional electives, with innovative options such as Web Programming, Circuit Design, Safety Engineering and Materials Science.
A key element of this program is the internship, which allows students to apply their learning in a real-world scenario, spending one month with one of AUBH’s partner organizations. BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

This program develops students’ ability to program, design, test, develop and innovate which can be applied throughout today’s tech-centric world. Students learn to address computer systems and devices, at both hardware and software levels. Who Should Apply? This four-year undergraduate program will have a foundation in mathematics, sciences, electronics and computing basics. Applicants to this degree program should have strong analytical skills and the ability to self-evaluate throughout their studies.
Program Content This program focuses on detailed hardware and software systems along with multiple levels of testing, development, optimization, implementation, maintenance, analysis and design. The curriculum will cover cover scientific modules in programming, networking and security, algebra, mathematics and analysis, which are then applied to innovative real-world uses such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and network management.
To nurture individual interests, elective modules are offered in cryptography, graphics and data mining techniques. A key final-year element of this course is the internship, which allows students to apply their learning in a real-world scenario, at one of our partner organizations.

This four-year undergraduate program produces versatile Industrial Engineers who can integrate science, engineering and socio-economic knowledge, and can go on to lead within the sector. If you have good interpersonal skills alongside a strong interest in mechanics, Industrial Engineering will bring out the inventor and innovator inside you. Program Content The core IE curriculum is built on a broad foundation of math and science modules, combined with computer science, mechanics, and engineering design. Advancing to incorporate electrical engineering, tech entrepreneurship, machine learning and the science of materials – with an emphasis on operational application throughout – Industrial Engineering combines technical and management skills, encouraging analytical thinking and problem solving. This flexible degree program also delves into a range of systems and technologies with applications in energy production, robotics, environmental systems, materials, composites, transportation, manufacturing, machine design and many more.

This practical and multifaceted program develops students’ passion for design while building skillsets that can be applied in many areas such as aerospace, architecture, automotive, machinery, healthcare and artificial intelligence
Who Should Apply? This four-year undergraduate program enables students to design processes and manage systems while fostering the ability to apply math and science principles to solve problems related to moving objects. Applicants should have strong practical and analytical skills with a basic interest and curiosity towards discovery of how every-day objects function.
Program Content This program combines practical and management skills to encourage analytical thinking and problem solving. The core curriculum is built on a broad foundation of calculus and physics modules with focus on computer programming, methods of analysis and engineering design. It further advances to incorporate electrical engineering, advanced use of CAD software, engineering mechanics and simulated systems. Key principles are explored in detail, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and advanced design of machinery.
Elective modules are offered across may areas of interest, such as continuum mechanics, solar energy or biomechanics, to ensure that students are able to nurture interests as the course develops. Students are given the opportunity to undertake an internship with one of our partner companies, preparing work-ready graduates to successfully adapt in the workplace.
