About The School : An Introduction
Palms is a high-performing School in Riffa, Bahrain, providing a community based approach to learning, with family, cultural values and friendship at its heart, ensuring an enriched, rewarding experience for our students. Palms opened its doors to students in 2004 continuing the excellence of education preceded by the KG Kids Pre-School founded in 1994. Palms follows the British Curriculum for English, Maths and Science and Bahrain›s national curriculum for Arabic language, social studies and Islamic education. The school offers a bilingual program of study for students from Grade one to Grade six.
We believe that every child is a unique individual with a range of abilities and needs, and we are committed to recognise and fulfil these needs and help all children reach their full potential. With a personalised and differentiated approach to education, we strive to develop and nurture the whole child based on universal living values, rooted in their culture and Islamic principles.
Students, parents, staff and the broader community work together within a climate of shared responsibility to ensure every child achieves success and together can make a difference. As a community of learners, we are very proud of our school and of its achievements. We are equally committed to continue to enhance our curricula, facilities and services for the best of our students.
WHAT MAKES OUR SCHOOL SPECIAL ?
We’re a small school, with a large sense of pride. Our student numbers allow teachers to take time to individualize lessons and spend quality time with each student. Our younger students become fully aware of what is expected of them in higher grades as they see, hear and interact with older children on a daily basis and play together during breaktime. This encourages easy acceptance of new ideas among friends as well as a strong sense of identification and belonging.
We create a special atmosphere where curiosity and imagination can flourish, empowering students with the knowledge and life skills to reach their full potential.
Our school environment, consisting of good teachers, resources and space to learn, provides the right environment for students to flourish.
