The Alliance Française of Bahrain is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is subsidized by the French government. It is an educational, cultural association headed by a Franco-Bahraini committee. The Alliance Française of Bahrain is the leading center in Bahrain for French language services and francophone resources. The goal of the Alliance is to challenge and enrich the lives of the people living in Bahrain by offering the chance to connect with people of different backgrounds and cultures in order to better understand and appreciate the greater global community.
The Alliance Française of Bahrain is part of the prestigious network of Alliances Françaises internationally recognized in 131 countries, whose main mission is to promote the teaching of the French language and culture.
The Alliance Française of Bahrain is composed of a team of qualified teachers who provide general and specialized courses in French for all levels and ages. Most significantly, the Alliance Française is the only accredited centre for official certification of DELF, DALFand TEF issued by the Ministry of National Education and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
These internationally recognized certificates of proficiency in the French language lead the way for French higher education and facilitate access to the labour market.
